The Process
How each KAōS artwork comes to life.
Nothing is pulled from a shelf
Every Kaōs piece is produced only after it has been ordered. There is no inventory waiting.
No pre-made stock.
No automated fulfillment. Each artwork enters a creation phase handled directly by the studio, one piece at a time. This is intentional.
It allows control, precision, and respect for the work itself.
From order to completion
Step 1 — Printing
Each artwork is printed using archival-grade materials, selected to preserve depth, contrast, and longevity. Every print is checked manually before moving forward.
From order to completion
Step 2 — Inspection
The piece is inspected for color accuracy, surface integrity, and overall balance. Anything that doesn’t meet the studio’s standards is discarded.
From order to completion
Step 3 — Finishing
Depending on the edition, this may include signing, handling, or additional manual steps. No two pieces are ever exactly the same.
From order to completion
Step 4 — Preparation
Once completed, the artwork is carefully prepared for shipment. Packaging is handled by the studio to ensure the piece arrives as intended.
Why it takes time
This process takes time by design. Rushing would mean giving up control.
Automation would mean lowering standards. The preparation phase typically requires 7–14 days before dispatch. This time is part of the work, not a delay.
What to expect
While your artwork is being prepared, you may receive updates from the studio.
These messages are not promotional.
They exist to give visibility into the process and to share what happens before the piece leaves the studio.
You will be notified as soon as your artwork is ready for shipment.
Timing & delivery
Each piece is produced on demand.
Production typically begins within a few business days.
During peak periods, processing times may be slightly longer due to increased order volume.
This does not affect quality — it reflects the care required for individual production.
KAōS artworks are not meant to be rushed.
They are meant to be lived with.
